La Stirge est une créature immense mi-oiseau, mi-chauve-souris. Autrement appelée “Oiseau vampire”. Il s’agit d’êtres nocturnes. Lorsqu’elles découvrent une proie, elles poussent des cris stridents jusqu’à la capturer et la déchiqueter avec leurs dents acérées. En effet, ce sont des créatures carnivores, jamais réellement rassasiées. Celui qui peut en contrôler une vivra aussi longtemps qu’elle. Leurs destins seront alors liés.
