La population résidant derrière les remparts est composée de personnes aux revenus confortables. Ce ne sont pour la plupart que des marchands recevant le voyageur de passage afin de lui vendre divers produits artisanaux ou importés de l’étranger. Les clypsodiens sont accueillants et très sociables. Ils n’hésitent pas à se retrouver à la taverne ou sur la place centrale afin d’échanger les dernières nouvelles autour d’un verre ou au cours d’une balade.
